After that sharp right onto PA-987 S, and use the right lane to merge onto US-22 W via the ramp to Harrisburg. Then take the Fullerton Avenue exit, and keep right at the fork and merge onto Fullerton Ave. Next, continue onto N Front St, and turn right onto American Pkwy. Coplay is a picturesque borough in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania six miles northwest of Allentown. It’s part of America’s 68th most populated metropolitan area-the Lehigh Valley! In 1900 there were only 1,581 people living here but by 1910 that number had grown to 2 270 – an increase almost twice as great as average growth rates for other areas at this time period. The Borough of Coplay is situated along the Lehigh River, about 5 miles (8 km) north-east from Allentown. It has a total area with 1 square mile dedicate to it which contains 3% water and 99%. The town of Coplay was founded by German settlers in 1740. It is located on land purchased from William Penn’s heirs that had been originally granted to him as far back at 1684!
